Fig Group secures investment from SFC Capital to accelerate its end-to-end risk management platform for MSPs
London, UK - 15 July 2026 - Fig Group, the governance-first cybersecurity and compliance partner built to serve Managed Service Providers (MSPs), today announced it has secured seed investment from SFC Capital, the UK's most active early-stage investor and leading SEIS fund.
The funding accelerates Fig Group's mission to become the standard for end-to-end risk management across the world's MSPs: an off-the-shelf way to assess, certify, maintain and ensure compliance across their entire client base.
Unlike the point tools MSPs assemble today, Fig Group owns the full risk chain. As an accredited certification body, licensed to certify against UK government-backed schemes including Cyber Essentials (overseen by the NCSC) and the Defence Cyber Certification (overseen by the Ministry of Defence), Fig both sets the standard and gives MSPs the platform to meet and maintain it. The result is Compliance-as-a-Service and Cybersecurity-as-a-Service delivered as a single, accountable managed offering rather than a stack of disconnected software.
The investment will expand the Fig Group team, accelerate product development, and stand up Fig's insurance proposition, turning the platform's continuously maintained controls into genuine risk transfer for MSPs and their clients, alongside deeper integrations with the tools MSPs already rely on and expanded framework coverage.

Fig Group on the investment
“The global MSP market is a sleeping giant. In a short space of time the industry has moved from ‘fix your cables’ to ‘spin up your enterprise cloud infrastructure’, and regulation, customer expectations and MSP requirements are all developing rapidly,” said Jay Hopkins, Managing Director of Fig Group. “We built Fig Group for the modern MSP, enabling off-the-shelf Compliance and Cybersecurity as a Service. SFC's backing lets us deliver on our ambitions at a faster pace, including our expansion into insurance.”
Jay Hopkins, Managing Director, Fig Group

SFC Capital on the investment
“We're excited to back Jay and the team at Fig Group. Managed Service Providers have long been expected to own clients' compliance and cyber risk without standardised infrastructure. Fig's accreditation to certify against government-backed schemes, combined with its ongoing operational monitoring and management platform, means MSPs can offer a broader range of services to their clients without requiring in-house expertise.”
Ed Stevenson, Fund Principal, SFC Capital
